Lara Eggleton

I'm a writer and historian based in the North of England. I'm interested in art in all its forms, and its reception across time and cultural spaces (specifically pattern, decoration, geometry and the tenuous division between fine art and craft).

Since 2016 I've worked as managing editor at Corridor8, a contemporary art and writing magazine. I also provide writing workshops, consultancy and editing services on a freelance basis.

My PhD (History of Art) from the University of Leeds focused on the Alhambra palace in Spain. I have shared my research in a number of academic publications and as a visiting lecturer. I am currently a Tutor at the Open College of the Arts.
